India’s Election Results and its Domestic and Foreign Impact

India’s Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) Elections held every 5 years will be completed by the end of May 2924. BJP: 290 seats and along with regional parties, an alliance called NDA had 303 seats in the outgoing 543-member parliament. Its nationwide rival is the old Congress Party, with 48 seats. The rest were shared among regional parties, which have come together this time as a alliance called I.N.D.I.A.
